Somewhere, there must be a website that does the reverse, and shows dumb Americans with tattoos of Chinese characters that say something very different than they think they say!
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

We printed some flat stock for several years for a Radio Frequency Safety concern. A few of the signs were multi-lingual:  Chinese, Spanish and of course, Engrish. The English I have nearly mastered (finally) but we had SEVERAL proofreaders go over the foreign language parts. Proofreaders who's FIRST language was the correct one.  It was VERY helpful.

I knew a sign man in Manhattan KS who had to re-do some large back-sprayed translucent acrylic faces for a Chinese buffet, because one of the characters was missing some little curly-Q or other.  It TOTALLY changed the meaning of the sign.

Cost him some coin.

We just reprinted a large job for a viatnamese church because they missed a little curly q thingamabob. Couldn't put it on us lol. It did though make my heart stop for a sec when he walked in the shop the next day with a shirt and said we have a problem!!!

When I was running the engraved business cards some years back, we did some for folks who traveled abroad, and had stuff in three or four Asian  languages on the back that we could not proofread.
