I saw this at Fespa Cologne, a simple system, that I think you can adapted on any press.

Looks like a pretty straightforward humidifier.  Interesting idea though, anyone ever used something like this for WB applications?

this looks pretty cool, and much less messy than spraying/misting screens constantly.

Very cool. Does anybody ever use one of these placed under the press/screen being used?

Has been used for many years. Not really necessary with a lot of the new inks like Virus. We ran Virus at the show on high mesh counts and it would stay open easily for 30 minutes between printing. No misting whatsoever.

That look pretty nice.  Adjustable I presume?  A timer that mists every so often would be a good addition to prevent over wetting certain inks like HSAs that can experience major opacity changes from having more/less h20.

I think I'd buy some extras to point at the operator positions.

It's a cool idea, yes. It is useful yes. But I think Rich hit it dead on-

Not really necessary with a lot of the new inks

Now with a handful of the inks we use now it would be super nice. I think they would probably be more than worth it right now, but may not be as cool 5 years down the line.

I've wanted to try something like this(sort of) actually more like the misters you see at the grocery store. Run the lines down the press arm and just get a wide angle spray nozzle.

One last thing I picked up on from the mister, on a  oval like that, and it being overseas along with the lion's share of their market being overseas, I have to guess that is probably targeted at shops running 15k pcs jobs on average. Makes so much more sense then....

I could swear that I remember a story of somebody who rigged up a water spray bottle on his print head so when the print head came back it shot a quick spray of water?
