Looking For An Outlet ON/OFF Timer

I looking for an timer that will allow me to turn on my drying cabinet heater and have it turn off after a set time of an hour or whatever.
I've found a bunch of lamp timers and programmable timers and light switch wall timers that control a ceiling light or ceiling exhaust fan.
I need an outlet timer that goes from a manual timer start to a timed off.
Not sure if I explained this well, not enough coffee yet.

I made my own by using a light timer and then hardwiring an outlet to that.  So the timer is on the outside of the cabinet, and it runs to an outlet on the inside.  But only the top of the outlet is on a timer..so the dehumidifier runs when the humidity is too high, but the exhaust blower runs when I want it to.

Don't forget to consider the voltage of your dryer, some are 220 and might require a heavier duty timer. If it's 110v, then plug it into a light timer, or of course as mentioned, build it into the dryer. Should be easy either way.

I use one for heat in my cabinet.

I don't know how easy that one would be to merely use as a count down timer, rather than having your heater  coming on at a certain time each day, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has that option.

The standard old school spring type allow for easy mounting and wiring in a standard box along with an outlet, and may be more convenient to actually use inside a cabinet.
Then again if one has the outlet in there on which to mount this, it may be no biggie.

That is still one of those on-off at a certain time and not off one hour after you set it, no matter what time. I'm still thinking that this is what he wants, unless there is a simple digital version now.

Thanks everybody for the info.  Building a box with an outlet and the dial timer in-line somewhere would certainly work too but I was trying to avoid having to build something.
There's gotta be digital version of a simple manual-set-duration-countdown-to-off timer.

I did find these. The first one looks like it has more things than I need but it looks like it may have a straight countdown-to-off timer function. Hard to tell with the provided description:

This one looks very close but the minimum duration is 2 hours. An hour minium time would have been perfect (but the 10 amp max may be a factor too:

Yep, I think this is what he wants.  Just put one of these in my house on a whole house fan.  Just wire between your load and outlet.  Thanks for the question, I was thinking of something to do with mine cause the printer turns on the drying cabnet sometimes at 4 am then I don't find it on until 1, 2 o'clock later in the day.  I think they are dry by then!

Yeah, Bobby, it's true that it isn't just plug and play, but it's barely "building something" compared to most projects. 10-15 minuets tops.

Then again, if one of your digital finds is as easy to set, go for it.

We have a timer of sort on our dry box, It actually is a standard electric baseboard thermostat available for @ $15.00.
We have a fan driven heater and simply placed the t-stat in the heater circuit line. I have the t-stat mounted directly in the air exhaust flow and set for 90 degF in cabinet temp.  The heater we have mounted in the cabinet side wall and the fan is always on low when the switch is on. When the exhaust air drops below 90  the t-stat click on. We set the temp with a simple run test using a digital thermometer inside the cabinet and monitoring the result turning the t-stat setting up of down accordingly. Once set we just toss in the screens thn hit the switch. On a warm day the heater never comes on we just circulate room air.
have about 4 years use .......... dries our screens in about 40 minutes.
