Anatol and M&R BBC and Brown and Tajima facts from our end
« on: August 07, 2014, 07:57:01 AM »
We were new to this industry, but familiar with heavier equipment dependent industries from our industrial laundry, so perhaps we had a leg up on evaluating equipment.
We started with a Titan from Anatol. 2 issues. Prox switches and air block valves. Both were resolved. Both vendor supplied parts.
Got an anatol mixer. No issues period.
Compared products again , then bought an Anatol Horizon 10c. One air block bad, immediate replacement. Currently 200k impressions
Traded TiTan for a used Sporty, as needed immediate larger size print. Was a refurb from CGS. Circuit board issue. CGS fixed next day.
Anatol has gone through service people, but over the last 2 years has improved. We go through many people as well to get a good one, so can"t say much here.
We bought a kruzer for a specific reason. Could not get it to hold reg. Dennis Slutzky our district M&R guy came in and figured out the issue, and fixed it. Great guy. Great service.
Bought a starlight. Arrived on time. Needed to ensure we could add the frame to it when we add computer to screen, and that meant M&R. Tremendous unit. Can't speak to the Anatol.
Mariah dryer-used. No issues. Fusion dryer used-no issues. Both perform as expected. We like the fusion over our Solutions dryer. But the Solutions does what is required. I do believe that Anatol revamped the solutions on the gen after ours.

Personal preferences always come into play. My 3 printers like the Anatol Aries interface. Is the current M&R interface easier than my gen Sporty? Yes, Saw in Ac. They like the Anatol interface. Do they like the smoothness of the Sporty? Yes.

Vastex manual- Have to replace the occasional lift cylinder.

Tajima embroidery- No issues. Bought 2 new, one used.

Prior Brown exposure units, drying cabinets- just did not perform well for us  in our enviornment. High degree of electrical issues. Sold all off.

BBC auto flash? Had issues, Parts came next day. Still prefer our Vastex's.

Would we buy  Anatol, M&R, Tajima, or Vastex  again? Yes.

Do I care what color it is ? NO. it can be monkey poop brown as long as I make money with it. (Humor injected.)

Hope this post helps others in the decision tree for equipment purchases.
