Made by Workhorse Products, the unit has a 1,000-watt metal halide dual-spectrum light source. The shuttered lamp system has fast exposure times because there is no warm-up period as there is with an instant-start system.
The lamp life also is preserved longer because of less lamp strikes. Because the lamp is dual-spectrum, it is spectrally matched with both diazo and photopolymer sensitized emulsions for maximum speed and flexibility.
An integrated digital time control has an auto shut-off and an auto-repeat function. It also has a durable hold-down blanket, a powerful vacuum hold-down, and has the capacity to hold extra large screens. The two-part cabinet can be broken down to allow it to easily fit through a doorway, and it also is easy to clean and maintain. It comes in 115 vac and a 230 vac models.
