Thanks EVERYONE I truly appreciate it! I'm not exactly a world traveler, heck the three times I have seen the ocean were all at ISS Long Beach! I really feel great sense of community with all the feedback on something not even screen printing related!
I was told I can just pop the sim card out of my phone(Nexus 5) and buy a pre paid sim there and use my phone that way....

I know it is not M&R(Rich did a AWESOME job with the YouTube factory tours series), but if there is any interest of seeing pics of the S.Roque plant or any big shops out there let me know and I'll post them when I'm there. For me, doesn't really matter what company it is, equipment/other shop pics are like porn. ;D
I don't leave till Sunday so I'll be around to make smart ass comments until then!
Alex

Hopefully I'll never have to grow up and get a real job...

I think you can buy pretty cheap prepaid phones over there...or just travel without one, I never had one with me.

Yeah, just use the atm.  your bank can get you some cash to take with you to get you started, that isn't a bad idea either.

crap, now you've got me wanting to go back to austria...man I love that place.

the other thing, and I would imagine it's the same there is get ready to pay for the bathroom.  it might be $.50 or so, but keep some change on you.

I recommend getting a travel book from Lonely Planet, their books are great...I often flip through mine just to bring back good memories.

One more thing. The rick steves books are worth it. All others suck, I raced bicycles professionally most of my life and found myself in and out of places all the time. I think without some of his books I'd probably still be lost in some of those countries.

Wear a soccer jersey there and no one will bother you :)
Make sure that it is not an US soccer jersey tho.

Kidding

Relax, it is not that big of a deal, just make sure you have a gun with you at all times. Kidding again.

Portugal should be fun, it should be a lot warmer than here. Good wine and nice looking chicks will be all over there.
Like everyone said, contact your CC and bank, tell your cell phone co to unlock your phone and see if you can get a international plan for emergencies.
Depending who is your wireless provider and which phone you have (SIM card or not) you could just get a local SIM card with the phone number from Portugal. It will be much cheaper.
In the end, a soccer jersey might not be that bad idea,

Good luck and have fun

I agree, I wouldn't worry about it. I never worried about safety in Portugal. Foods amazing, and it's probably the best bang for the buck as far as a European vacation goes.

So I am at the airport about to get on my flight. If I don't make it guys, for the record....
- I have double stroked more than I would like.
- neglected screen tension much too often.
- touched up a mis print with my finger
-used a pin to "open" a screen
And the big one...
-I am still waiting for anatol  to fix my equipment.

If I "go" just want to have a clear conscience! :D

Ah, such an amazing effort from anatol to fix their name... I heard they fix problems as well as they hold on to top employees!

Well I made it, was up for like 32 hrs so things were a bit "weird" for some time there!
Kinda embarrassed I came clean about my short comings :D
Thanks again everyone for the support/info. Got my phone from home working like a charm with a local pre paid Sim card! So it is just like home, oh side from a totally different language, beautiful scenery, warmer weather, and fast small cars.... And I sick out like a sore thumb, guess the "camo fashion movement" hadn't made it way here just yet 8):D

Yup, you will not see much of the Mossy Oak over there
