Title: Foil for lasering material out?

What foil is used in the industry under applique fabrics for lasering out? We don't currently use foil under the applique on our machine, just use the proper laser settings but would like to compare how it works out.  Also certain fabrics are more annoying.

I was under the impression it's not the food grade aluminum foil and instead something that breaks up easier and is thinner.

anyone have a lead to find out what is used? I couldn't find an embroidery supplier with it...

Would some place that sells all the materials know? Somebody like Dalco perhaps?
