Title: Ameragraph 150
Post by: GraphicDisorder on October 31, 2013, 04:52:22 PM
Anyone have one, ours I swear is getting slower and slower.  Just timed a screen it was 3:10.  New bulb around a month ago.  I don't remember what it was before but I know my guy wasn't waiting on it, he used to burn one load the next wash the burnt one and basically stay moving.  Now its burn, wait.......

Longer times indicate bulb getting old and wearing out (like me on my hike this morning).

We have one with like a 8 year old bulb in it because my boss doesn't buy new ones lol. We have it set on 40 light units so it usually takes a little over a minute to exposure. Still works pretty well considering how old the bulb is. Definitely could use a new one. None of our work is terribly detailed for the most part.

I've got one. I had problems with the small circuit breaker cutting power off. Bought a couple of new ones from the manufacturer. Then I swapped a newer bulb for an older "second" I was saving and did something wrong because the contacts fried to the bulb socket.
Bought a new socket online for about 8 bucks and spliced it in. Paid a little more attention to installing the new $230 bulb.
Once in a blue moon it will trip the breaker in the box (15 amp). Otherwise, works like a champ.
If this comment jinxes it, I'm gonna shoot myself.
As for any noticeable degradation of time to expose, I can't say as I've noticed it. I switch between Aquasol MVP and Saati Grafic HU, which have varying times.

Ours is tripping breaker a lot now and it's noticeably longer to expose.  I'm about over it.

Have a handy person look at the wiring. There is resistance in there somewhere that's making the bulb not glow bright enough and building up enough amperage to trip the breaker.

Probably a bad/loose wire.
