Title: dryer flame issue. one side is orange the other is blue . . .
Post by: blue moon on October 29, 2013, 12:02:03 PM
anybody have any ideas why the right side of the flame would be orange and the left side would be nice and blue?

I did a bunch of stuff to try to track it down and am not getting anywhere.

'willing to entertain any thoughts and ideas at this point (as I wait for the manufacturer to call me back).

Check your burner and air filters. Gotta be a clog somewhere.

Orange flame occurs when lack of oxygen is present.
Check filters. Is blue flame present on gas intake side or oposite side
Of intake. May need to increase gas pressure. Are all
Holes in manifold clean and same size with twist drill?
I would start there
