I have an Omni Flash with the control box that I guess sits on the floor. Does anyone have a pic of how this is assembled? I have looked at it for a few minutes and can't wrap my head around how this works.

give me a serial number and I will e mail you the owners manual. The control box probably hangs on the cage or a head support. Your tech will know.

Will do that Rich, Could I get one for the press as well?

Ugghh this flash is not going to work. I am missing one of the support arms, I guess the shipping company from the old Challenger decided to keep it ( pic attached)

I have a smaller omni flash version for a Gauntlet. What you are missing is part of the safety cage that attaches to the print head after you flip the head up. Once you install the cage, the temp controoler box hooks on the cage. Thr ir panel attaches to the print head and hangs off it. The cage does 2 things, holds the controll box and keeps people awayfrom the heat panel when it is at rest. You will still be able to install and use the flash, but not the safety cage. Many people will put the temp controll panel on a chair, wall... The cage can be a pia if you need to move the flash on a regular basis. Newer, similar ir flashes do not come with cages, all the heat controls are self conatin with the panel. The falsh in the picture might be a different set than the Gauntlet Omni flash.
