Title: 10 color separation- stained glass effect
Post by: myseps on September 19, 2013, 03:40:48 PM
Here is a color separation I did, i really like how the colors pop off of the black outlines. I separated this piece as a 10 color (colors listed below in the pic). I ran the films using accurip at 55 lpi, 67 degrees, and ellipse shape.

That is nice. On a print that size though we would have skipped the base and........well you know ;)

Just in case you forgot the spelling, Tony... P-L-A-S-T-I-S-O-L - I know it's been some time since your fingers have typed those letters in that order :-P.  Perhaps we ought to be calling that ink the "Ink whose name shall not be mentioned" or "Lord Voldemort Ink", etc. :-).

Can I ask a question? Where is the green? Or where did it go? Look at the original the green in the light rays pops but on the print image it is almost non existent. I know when we print HSB green pops but it might the Pantone color not sure. Or it could be the digital camera did not pick it up maybe, I will order one of these to verify.

Both pics are images of the actual print. The small pic is professionally done and the bigger one is from a iPhone that used a flash (so the green appears to be blown out).
