Title: Dang-nabit
Post by: Northland on February 01, 2013, 06:03:04 PM
About a month ago I bought a dryer... paid $1750 and still feel it was a good buy.

Today on EBAY.. I see the same dryer for $1000, local pick-up only.. smokin good deal.
So, any of you MA guys, check it out:

One thing I really found advantageous with these M&R dryers.... they have six elements in the two heaters. So, it can be wired to run from 1000 watts up to 6000 watts (if you know how to configure it). That's a range of 20 to 40 amps of power... so if you have a small electrical service, you can reduce this down to 3000 watts and still get good results.

I wouldn't feel too bad.  It's not being sold "buy-it-now" for 1K.  That's just the starting bid and the "reserve is not met".

I been posting your pics of screen stretching table in another post.  Thanks for giving me (and the others) a leg up.

I saw the photos of the screen stretcher, thanks for the mention... I like the hold-down clamps..   I'll have to add those to mine.
