Title: New M&R Squeegee
Post by: jasonl on October 22, 2012, 08:37:56 PM
Anybody besides me check them out?  They have got to get a video if there isnt one already,  ZERO screws and bolts, the most cleanable squeegee that will EVER be made without a doubt.  Awesome.

I'm jealous. However I am all giddy now that my manual ergo force squeegees came today lol.

You mean those, right?

The clamping device costs around $950, once you have that each squeegee will be $3.65/inch.

Very nice Rich, I love it, but how much will that set one back on the old wallet?

I don't know, but if it is, I bet he's rich given all of the video time that shipping guy has been getting with those factory tours (Bah-dump-sha).

Good looking squeegee.  I bet it applies very even pressure across the length of the holder.

Why the $995 machine?  I'm envisioning a classic boss behind a big desk saying "You need how much for a what?!"

Then again, I had no problem shelling out about that much for our rollermaster table so I'm guessing the machine just makes life that much easier.

Try to pick that machine up and you will see why it cost a grand.  Its real stuff!

Maybe I don't get it.. But it seems like you'd be better off just spending the grand on more regular squeegee holders.

I saw this system and it is nice. Its not a system for a small or even a medium shop. Its for the shop that needs blades changed out alot. The time savings would be worth it. I can't see a guy with one auto needing this system. Not that you wouldn't want it.

its needed for a lot more than changing squeegee blade out. This allows for complete cleaning of the holder and blade so no contaminates enter the ink from previous print. You also need less holders in your shop as changing durometer takes seconds.

I'll be able to offer some more feedback next week. Hopefully I'll have mine installed and working. (sorry, press had priority)

Rich, can you send me a link to those, we have been looking for a solution like that for a while... just getting contaminants in the squeeges that arent that easy to clean out and ink coming out during a different print run. ruining those shirts.
