Title: How would you print this?
Post by: Prosperi-Tees on October 19, 2012, 11:29:34 AM
Believe it or not this is the first time I am printing halftones on darks. Wondering how I should tackle this (mesh counts, print order, flash). It is going on brown hoodies. Thanks for your guys input.

I'd discharge it off the bat if at all possible. Way easier than anything else. If not possible...

I'm of the opinion that halftones fading into white look way better over a solid white rather than
just an underbase. As such:

White, flash, white, flash, maroon, gold, red.

Or if you don't have two flashes;

White, flash, maroon, gold, red, highlite white. Put the top white on a 230-280.

If your going to print halftones over a solid white base I would flash those halftones to keep them clean, as they do tend to increase in size and muddy up printing wet on wet and your printing on hoodies too!!!
