Title: javelin issues
Post by: Prosperi-Tees on February 16, 2012, 08:46:55 PM
I got the Javelin fired up today. Simple 2 color job, 100 pcs. So I setup in heads 5 & 6, adjust pressures and angles and start to print. About 10 shirts head 5 starts printing really slow so I try to open the flow valve a bit more but no change in speed. What could cause this? Head 6 printed fine thruout the whole run.

could be a couple of things, and mind you I am not a jav owner

Our M&R does this when there is moisture in the line.  Check that first.  Second, make sure it's well oiled.

It could be whatever signals the press to move the squeegee back and forth.  The MAC valves do this on an M&R.  I imagine it's something similar on the jav.

Also, the seals in the stroke cylinder could be bad.  How old is it?  Oiling will help...temporarily.  You can pop an air hose off and put a few drops of oil in and see if it helps.

Its a mid 90s. I'm thinking I should drop the coin and bring a tech in so I can learn from him. Anyone know someone on the left coast?
