And, on the supply side, Denco and Tubelite have merged. For me, both of these companies go back more than 40 years!
Tubelite left the area more than 10 or 15 years ago, and Denco has moved at least 3 times to three different Bay Area cities. Still offers free delivery (in their own trucks) on a fairly reasonable $100 minimum. Even their $7 flat fee on smaller orders beats the Benicia Bridge toll and gas (to say nothing of time).

Dammit, Steve and Steve cashed out!  Now we can expect their excellent service to go downhill, just like it did at TSC and Alpha after private equity acquired them.  Looks like San Mar is the last holdout as a family owned entity in this space.
