Model year 2006. (both)
My contract embroidery person wants out of the biz.
Machines well maintained.
All hoops, thread and supplies. 70K.
Sounds like a good deal, huh?
We do a fair amount of contract embroidery.
What would you do? - John

They are 11 years old. Islandtees posted one less than a year old for $45k.
Personally, I would go new 6 or 8 head. Tajima or Barudan. He's also a contract embroiderer, which means those machines were probably running a lot. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think I'd buy them, that's a lot of money for used equipment.
If he's getting out of the biz is it including any customers with the sale of the equipment?

Doesn't sound that great of a deal. I mean its not crazy price but its not a "deal" really either.

A way better deal than that would be buying 2 new 2017 models...

I believe they are an older generation style so I wouldn't touch them at that price or any where near. Running Barudans latest generation is amazing and you see used later model Barudans for less than those 11 year old Tajimas.

Too rich of price by about 25% or more i.m.o.

thanks for the feedback, fellas...
I'll post what ends up happening.
