quick update, we are up and running (the rest of the space is still a mess though). Both Richard and I were impressed with the install and the presses. While I bought the ROQs for their performance, their design is significantly better than what I anticipated. Smooth and solid/sturdy like nothing else I've seen.
We start production with them as soon as we are back from the holidays.
here are two quick pix of the space with and without the presses.
more updates to follow. . .

p.s. yes, the MHM is still there, just hard to see in the pix

Nice. Im surprised you have enough electrical capacity in an office setting.

Yea, not many office spaces offer 3 phase.

especially with the recommended wiring of those presses being 125a 3phase (the base of the press has outlets built in to accommodate a few flashes)

it's office/warehouse space, we just chose to put the presses in the office section. There's 600A of service, so no problem there (although I was worried for a few days).
We had the individual drops run for the flashes as it required much more power if everything combined. As it is, 3 flashes, two ROQ Irons and two presses fit on the 200A panel. It would have been about 80A more to run single drops and several K more in wire and install costs, so we skipped it. I also liked the idea of individual breakers for the equipment, but am realizing now that we will need to come up with some sort of hanging system for the cables.

Heck, for a reward like that, how about getting a pair of pliers, and making a real offering to the tooth fairy!
