Title: LOCKED Layer after Separation
Post by: tkdscore on December 02, 2016, 12:44:08 PM
So I get art done and I make the colors SPOT CHANNELS in Photoshop. It almost always LOCKS the layer. So once I get done it prints fine when I print my separations. However if I go to use it to make a proof... Or to use UltraSeps to automate things like putting registration marks.. It wont work because its locked. I can make it gray scale. Then do it. Then change it back. But that seems odd. What am I missing?

At some point are you flattening the image? I know doing so will create a locked background layer.
