Title: Popping Noise from Lift Cylinder
Post by: sqslabs on November 30, 2016, 10:03:03 AM
Yesterday we started hearing a popping noise from our lift cylinder every once in a while, and its gotten a bit more frequent today.  Still waiting to hear back from RPM on it, but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas what this could point to?  Here's a video of the noise:

Spoke w/ RPM and figured it out.  Its amazing how one tiny spring can affect a big machine.

Glad you got it figured out, those little odd noises that can pop up are enough to trigger an anxiety attack

It's funny how we can hear the tiniest different sounds on a press or a certain smell in the shop can let us know that something isn't quite right.

Pretty sure we can all hear a screen pop from a good mile or two away.
