Title: Resignation
Post by: tonypep on July 18, 2016, 09:27:19 AM
Just submitted it. Don't know If they will accept and along with it comes an extreme amount of mixed emotions. So; it may be abrupt or long term exit plan. Have a few options but willing to entertain any opportunites

Hopefully everyone can be respectful of your wishes and all the hard work you have put in over the years.  Best wishes to you and your future endeavors.

Congratulations.  It's never easy to resign or switch jobs, but in this case it sounds like you're doing it for you (vs. just out right giving notice).

PS.  does this mean that soon you may be able to finally educate us fully on the inner secrets of discharge and waterbase printing?

I'm looking forward to the major participation we used to get.
Hopefully, any new employer won't insist on hobbling or muzzling you.

Thanks all. Difficult times may be ahead but strong shoulders here. It would be disrespectable to mention the troubles here. Not burned out however there is only so much one can take

Tony, it happens.  No need to be specific...any job has it's challenges.

My best friend had 9 w-2's last year.  Yes, 9 of them.  He bounced around from body shop to body shop until he found one with problems he could deal with.

Good luck!

Wow. Kind of surprised here, but I get it.

Your integrity shows through again, by not talking out of school.

Best of luck Tony!

Tony:  Sorry to hear that things aren't working out in your current gig, and I wish you all the very best in your future endeavors.  There's a group of people in this industry who bring a passion and commitment to their jobs, where they work as if they own the company versus being just an employee.

The people who own the company are ready to let their high value employees totally commit to the cause for as long as it suits their needs, but it's when the game changes that you find out how much that you're really valued by "the man."

I hate that you are in the position of having to start over, but at least you are making this change on your own terms versus having something unexpectedly dumped on you without any warning. Here's your song :)  https://youtu.be/mfQFU0omkJI?list=RDmfQFU0omkJI
