Title: Oversized Basketball layouts
Post by: Ross_S on February 15, 2016, 01:27:50 PM
Looking for some ideas.  I've been doing some contract work for a local printer.  They have a girls basketball tournament this week where they will sell the product.  They want me to do an oversized print (No problem) with a basketball design.  Since 90% of my art is sent to me I never really got into the design side.  Just curious if anyone could share a layout they have done.  I'm not looking to copy your work just trying to get an idea I like to do the art.  Please email me at RossS@rsimprints.com if you don't mind sharing or respond here

Large ghosted halftone images are good for the large background elements. You can simulated or imply that the art is part of the garment more by having it seamlessly fade off to (the edge of your max print seas). Then add in a smaller more bolder element like the hoop and ball.

Background can be floor and line markings or fans/crowd ect.  For starters.
