I'm laughing at myself as I ask this... but, my ego isn't so big that I won't!
Anyone have or able to point me in the direction of information on what the parts of a manual press are called? Like a labeled diagram? I know there are lots of different presses out there... but I was hoping maybe some of the basic parts are called the same thing. :)

Might find something on google images with a search for "screen printing press diagram"
-
or surf around the M&R website
a lot of parts can be bought or made pretty easily. some cannot.
-
Do you mean generic terms, like "Platen" or "Side Clamps" or "Frame Holder" or "Micros"?

I searched first... Didn't find anything. Asked the manufacture of my press (Brown's Mfg.) nada....
I don't even know what I don't know! LOL... I do know what the platen is... I think side clamps and micro claps are the same thing. I've been calling them screen clap thingy's... :o
I have a press made up of doodads, whatchamacallits, and whozmabobs.... which of course makes it hard to actually communicate to my guy at the manufacturer!
I've attached a photo of my immediate concern... These adjusters move my screen back/forward on print head. I have several of them that are broken and it makes it quite difficult to line-up my prints. Some of them just needed to be taken apart and lubricated, but some are missing parts or won't move at all still.
WHAT are these called??? Hahaha...

This short video may help....

I'll bet if you sent that picture (or one of the broken parts) to Brown's they could tell you what it is called.

If the manufacturer cannot help, you need to get a more responsible brand, imo.
It appears that you have a side clamp press and the knobs circled are:
1) Horizontal knobs - Registration
2) Vertical knobs - lock down knobs to hold the registrations once it's set
Oh, nm, nice video...lol
