They are designed to stay on.
Duh. I know.
These have 2 layers, and the base layer is SubliBlock white.
I've tried Methylene Chloride, Acetone, and commercial spot cleaning solvent in the spot gun. I've destroyed enough brain cells to not care anymore.
Big game tomorrow. I need some hard liquor...except I don't drink.
-
the only thing we use is the Methylene Chloride, not sure what the subliblock white number is whether it is vinyl.

I think you might be on to something with the use of alcohol...... I've heard it is a good remover of things like jobs, money, families, memory, etc.
So it should remove those dang letters..... if not you can always use lighter fluid and a lighter.... or maybe a #2 lead pencil and just "draw" them off!
Please let me know witch method works best.............
-
We use the Meth Chloride too, and it that's not touching the sable-block, I think it's time to replace the shirt, as crappy as that sounds...

Methylene Chloride removes the letter vinyl FAAAAST, and leaves the adhesive right where it was...on the shirt.
Do you run it in your spot gun?
<snip> alcohol...... I've heard it is a good remover of things like jobs, money, families, memory, etc. <snip>
Exactly why I was raised to not use it. I made it all the way through High School without it, and was not harmed by abstaining. So I figured why risk a good thing. ;)
But today, I might break my rule.
Sucks to be me, Thursday, Oct 1, Year of our Lord, 2015.
At least the voices in my head are saying tomorrow has to be better.
@ Sbrem, I managed to BLOW the adhesive off, left behind from 2 teensy weensy letters with about a pint(!) of spot cleaning solution through the spot gun.

How many times have we reminded ourselves that it usually isn't worth the time and expense, but we either choose to or are situationally forced to do it anyway?
-
EXACTLY!
Couldn't have said it better myself.
-
yeah, we just want it behind us...

Same with plastisol ink repairs.
I just did two yesterday on performance poly. Raglan sleeves, the smalls needed a little stretch to place on the board and clear the seam, and, wham, two didn't stay perfectly stuck and (fortunately only) one letter screwed up. I blew it out, masked off the rest of the design, changed the board position, reset the screen, the whole nine yards, but no ordering replacements! I won! (or did I?)
