Title: Anyone with a RayPaul Cureair Dryer out there?
Post by: canucklehead on September 25, 2015, 10:45:50 AM
We recently purchased a used RayPaul Cureair and it was shipped to us without the lower 5Hp recirc motor. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that can pull a model/serial number off of theirs so's I can order a new one. I suppose the RPM and frame type would be handy numbers as well off the specs plate.

M&R should be able to help you with this,

I believe they acquired Ray-Paul some years ago.

Oh, that's super!

this particular unit is 3 phase.

Model: 60121B8-81R
Serial: 37610793
3 phase/ 68.9 Amps

It was shipped without the mounting plate and pulley guard as well, but I think I can fab some stuff up at the shop. Any idea what size/type v-belt would go with that?

Exact Replacement Is :   GE  5K184BD205A
                                     5 HP    184T Frame
                                     1725 RPM
                                     230/460 V
                                     3 Phase
Any motor that matches these specs will do.
I hope this helps.

Thanks again everyone. I wish I got on here earlier to sort this out. There's no shortage of knowledge and help in this forum. I hope I can give something back in the near future.

Cheers!
