I have 2 print heads that seem to "vent" air out a hole on the clamp (pic attached) during a print stroke. It doesn't effect the print and goes away after a few shirts. Also after it goes away it will start back up if I have to stop and restart the print cycle. Thoughts?

Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words! Turn your squeegee around so the clamp is not half on and half off of the notch in the squeegee holder. The clamp is being put into a bind due to the angle it is trying to lock at.

Rich,
If that's the case than all my flood bars are wrong and I'd never be able to flip my squeegees from sharp to bevel edge.

Am I doing something wrong?

Try adding a few drops of press oil in the air line going into the clamp.

This photo shows nothing but angle adjustment. Call my cell and I will explain. 6302409076

We had the same issue on our Diamondback. In the end we had to replace all clamps as the ones installed on our press where identified as a faulty set. We still have the issue though on one printhead.

Talked with Rich and gonna try his suggestions tomorrow. Thank you for everyone's responses.

I have the same problem on my '13 Diamondback. I called M&R Tech help and they said it was faulty clamps. It was only an issue on one clamp but they told me i had to replace both at the same time. I just got the replacements. How do i remove the clamps? It looks like a hex wrench from underneath. 224 mentions the notches and you should turn your squeegee around so the clamp is in full contact. I checked my clamps and they are 60% on full contact, 40% off no matter how you install the squeegee. Many other clamps have the same problem but i usually flip the toggle a couple of times and the air leak will go away. Does this help or make sense.
