I am in a couple of weeks be printing a hoodie and the design has text that will be printed using metallic ink. I have printed this on dark garments, but never on white or light color fabric. These will be Gildan 18500 . In the past i always slow the belt speed or turn up the temp if not both when printing metallic, these being white I'm concerned that they will scorch before the metallic ink cures. Any tips on how I might approach this.

You shouldn't have to change temps for regular metallic inks. Maybe just slow the belt slightly if any. What type of dryer and how much heat chamber do you have?

Old National 3611, I believe there is like 6 ft. of heat

Always test if unsure before running an order. Check the cure tempd of your inks and adjust if necessary. Most likely a minimal change if anything. Make sure dryer is good and hot when testing as all those hoodies are going to soak up a lot of heat in the chamber. Run a test and doctment for reruns and similar future orders.

worst case add some low cure additive
