I'm working on art for a 'glow' event....
customer wants to know which ink colors are best to glow under blacklights
I know the obvious (white), as well as phosphorescent -- don't want to get involved in that just yet, but.. what else is excellent too?
Thanks!

I'd think anything fluorescent.

CCI's discharge fluorescents are pretty badass:

Has to be plastisol.. going on shirts for a 5k and I know that they're not going to wash them before wearing.
but the flourescent colors are definitely a great idea..

Wilflex makes an awesome "glow in the dark" ink that is clear and you can top coat through a heavy mesh, say 86 and makes everything not only glow under black light, but light up like a lamp on it's own in a dark room. We've put it over dark colors, double hit and it still glows!

I've always been told that there could be residual zink and/or formaldehyde from doing discharge, and that you should always put a 'wash before wearing' label/tag on the garment.

Here's what CCI says

CYA, though honestly, wash anything before you wear it.
Blacklight Green is a Wilflex product, does as it's name suggests. Quite well.

well then.. I guess we need some of those stickers
