Title: Pricinig amerigraph 150
Post by: T Shirt Farmer on September 11, 2014, 09:52:15 AM
Hey all,

I want your opinion on what you think my Amerigraph 150 in excellent working order should be on the used market, I want to price it to sell quickly. The buzz of new LED units many are buying it will have a great effect on pricing these old technology machines. So what do you think a fair price should be?

I have seen units in the 1500-2500 range with the higher priced 2500 one sitting on the market for quite awhile.

As I've said many times, with most equipment, the price can vary greatly with the amount of storage space available to the seller.
With older technology exposure units, you obviously have a new factor as well.

In general, for buying, I have always shot for 60% of new for mildly used stuff.
With the obvious new development in this particular field of equipment, I'd have to say that if you want to move it sooner than later, drop it significantly further than that.

I would probably ask 2K for ours.  Nice units and we bought it for 3k 6 years ago.

We are keeping ours as redundant exposure.
Never hurts to have a second source of light for when things go south.
Not saying I anticipate problems with our Starlight, but for the same reasons
we have redundant air and presses, best to have back up for every situation.
