Title: Epson 9600 printing so light

Hi All,
we use an Epson 9600 to print our large and oversized films. In the past 6 months though, our prints have gotten so liney, and are almost clear. We cannot figure out how to make them darker.

We currently print from an apple, through Photoshop, through Accurip through the 9600. We do not have all black inks in this printer.

Any suggestions?

Have you run a head cleaning? This happens on our small Epson 1430 over a long weekend and when we change carts if I let it run empty. I have learned to run a nozzle check every morning to be sure we are good to go so we dont waste film.

we've done a normal clean, a power clean, a nozzle check, and a pattern test every day on this printer, and it still prints so faint.

I think we are going to try taking it out of accurip, and see if that prints anybetter
