Title: vinyl color bleeding
Post by: mooseman on March 17, 2014, 09:07:24 PM
Haven't seen the results yet but recently pressed some Siser easyweed  Flor. Pink on to some white 100% poly jerseys. Customer says some of them are showing the pink bleeding into the white .....what the heck....how does vinyl bleed into polyester.
We were pretty right on with time & temp ? any thoughts .
Thanks

I have used Siser easyweed and extra also no problems. Call siser na ask them if possible, I don't think it is, unless the poly shirt were dye sub printed and outgased. Maybe Big maybe.

an update for those concerned, so far no pics of the bleeding film (Siser fluro pink on white poly) have showed up?
If they do I will post but so far no evidence.

The betting line odds on this incident occurring as described are going up.

Well as I implied the longer they take to send you a picture or bring you an example the less chance there is a bit actually having happened as described
