Discharge Frustration

you arent having issues with washoff/flaking with that high a percentage of dwhite?  We got shoddy results on pretty much anything over 20% when we were testing (which we did tons of after a big 6 color run with a 100% dwhite base washed almost completely off...expensive learning experience!).

No issues, I am sure to get good penetration/saturation on the base and do a quick flash to prevent pick-up.  Also the top colors In some cases are based WAYYYY down.  Here is another pic that shows a close up of a Red and Yellow Printed over a 50/50 DC Base.

Here is the entire Print for reference.  I wear this shirt at least once a week and Mine is a G2000 Heather Blue 50/50.

great stuff!  I'll have to look into higher concentrations.  I'm assuming you're printing on an auto, not sure I can mash it enough manually without blurring the image.

So with the 80/20 mix you can print wow without the top colors sticking? Do you have to use a top white or is the 80/20 base bright enough for most jobs.

We always flash the base then run every other color WOW.
An 80/20 mix for us is not bright enough.  With the truck design the top white was 100% Dwhite with 6% activator, the base was a mix.  The BBQ print Top White was plastisol White.

I appreciate the info. sounds like the only benny of running discharge is print softness and a little upcharge. except for maybe printing straight discharge white.
