Easiway VS Franmar one step

Ok. Easiway vs Franmar one step. Which is better and drain safe. Problem I can't get the franmar big tank. The easiway tank for 4 - 23x31 is 37 gallon and 280.00. Plus liquid. Good and bad of both. Or is their a better solution/tank?

Contact them they may have the show special where they included the chemical for free. And it was super cheap!

In early 2014 Xenon will present a system that will eliminate all dip tanks and take the guessing out of costing for screen reclaiming.  In the mean time our One Step is all that and a bag of chips.  It is way more expensive than an ink cleaner and stencil remover as seperate steps.

CCI also has a DST-2 dip tank for 25x36 screens and holds 6 frames as well for about $325 that includes a hold down bar. There is also a DST-2 Kit that also includes 4 gallons of Dip N Strip chemical for use as a 2n1 ink/ emulsion remover. You only need 1 gallon of Dip N Strip per tanks full.

We've tried both. Franmar seemed to last longer than Easiway. But in the end, we went back to a 2 step process. The extra step yields a better reclaim and a cleaner reclaim area.

^^This seemed to be the reality to me as well.  Is anyone getting really clean screens with a 'one step' process?

Back when I was using Easiway stuff I tried Supra it seemed as if it was MORE work than using 701/842 and then 500.

Anyone have any tips on using a dip tank with discharge/waterbased?  Main issue for me is having to stop production to clean screens as I am usually alone.  Letting the ink dry on the screen isnt really an option.  I guess I could just card off the excess ink and just have the diptank full of water, but if there is something that will also soften up the emulsion I would use it in a heart beat.  I probably will continue to simply scrub off the plastisol as my cleaner wrecks it without issue, and from what i've read the combo solutions suck a bit and your tank gets nasty pretty quick, even if you card off pre dip.
