I bet that someone who knows more than I about the 4800 and Accurip may ask you if this is the case both through Accurip and by itself.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

My question will be.. Did you restart the comuter after driver intall for the services to be started? Or go to computer managemet/services/and start accurip or the epson? Which ever that may be offline..

Also go to control panel/printers and other devices/and check that your epson is the default printer

it's "online" and ready, this is the error it gives...installing the LFP remote panel didnt do anything....im missing my software disk of course and the online site only offers that.

The Paper Source settings on the control panel and in the printer driver do not match. Make sure that the control panel and printer driver settings match, and that the correct paper is loaded.
To cancel the print job, click the Stop button, then reset the printer by holding down the Pause button on the printer's control panel for approximately 3 seconds.

you aren't kidding about that. We had an old HP1000 series compact laser printer that finally died, so we bought the new shiny version....damn thing picks when it wants to print.  it seriously will print nothing, and then all of the sudden shoot out 10 pages. it's strange to say the least.  older one never failed...this one I have to turn off and on constantly.

Try having multiple printers and rips on a MAc all running on VM Fusion except for a basic laser that is connected to MAC only. Talk about head aches, VM constantly screws up and disconnects one print or a RIP, changes settings in Blue Tooth Device settings. And the best one, every single time you go from MAC to VM it recreates new instances of the printers so you end up with a list of one printer like this

EPSON 1430 (1)
EPSON 1430 (2)
EPSON 1430 (3)
Do this for all the printers and cutters and rips
