Printing on waterproof/breathable
« on: November 04, 2013, 07:08:44 PM »
It's been awhile since we've done the 'ol waterproof nylon and I'm not sure we've ever ran waterproof/breathable actually.

Thinking a quick 91% isopropyl wipe on the print area to clear off any DWR and then WFX Performance with nylobond.  If the nylobond will grip through DWR that would be great since it wouldn't destroy the fabric's ability to bead water there, but I'm not so sure it can cut through it.  I assume modern DWR is different from the repellent coatings used on the satin jackets of yore.

Anyone have a little sage advice to lend?  I'm sure I'm missing something, somehow.  Just trying to make this less of a hassle for my printer.
