Ghost popping screens

As I was doing some work today I heard a clank, what could this be? Dunno? Then as I was standing next to my screen rack I saw a screen pop!  The two that popped were my higher count screens with about 24 on them I used them all summer. Why would they pop? It's just strange two popping within a half hour of each other just sitting in the rack. Ever have this?

havent had this happen, but i have had multiple screens where the glue completely failed along whole sides.  screens have been in use for a while and are from 3 different sources. no chemistry changes.  freaking me out a bit.

Roller frames, after looking at them they are both real old mesh and one of them had a small rip before. Who knows very odd though

What tension were they at?
I'm waiting for a few little holes to rapidly expand at 25n's.
They have been in the screens for months, its nice they are kind now.
Just hope not on press.

the repair works even better if you saturate a small piece of mesh in the epoxy place that on the shirt side of the screen then cover both sides of the patch area , shirt & squeegee side with an ample piece of old film,  ink side AWAY from the epoxy,  then throw the whole thing under the vacuum blanket on your exposure unit and draw down.
You will get a super flat and even dispersion on the epoxy and a neat looking patch. make sure you have ample coverage with the film so the epoxy does not make contact with the glass or blanket.

I also use  mesh patches when the holes are over a certain size, like a match head.

Seems like the coater bumps over and leaves excess
across no matter how flat.

Only an issue when the rip is in, or very close to the image area.

I use HD CA glue from the hobby store and some mesh. If there was in pin holes before the pop maybe due to not enough corner softening.
