The downside of refillable inkjet carts...
« on: October 21, 2013, 10:50:12 AM »
...(if you are a klutz). Happy Friday to me!

PS: this is (well, WAS) for the Epson 1400, and the ink is from inksupply.com...does anybody use this and notice that it smells REALLY REALLY BAD?! My films smell like fish!
Thanks TSB gang!!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and these words tell a cautionary tale of the dangers of drinking and re-filling.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I would always refill in the warehouse or in the washout booth, or in the kitchen sink.  a lot less mess with a spill there.

WOW!

good luck getting that stuff of your hands and legs! 'might as well spill some on the other leg too so it matches for the next few days (weeks?) until it gets off.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Yes, we use the same stuff, not that smelly. Besides I like fish... to get it off, get a smooth rock, and rub it over the ink under cold water; it blew me away the first time I did it... now I know why they put Pumice in Lava soap.
