What screen meshes would I use for this?

6 color job....halftones...I already have the seps printed...what meshes should I use for each color? I am printing on a manual (chameleon 8/8 with air clamps) with aluminum frames....I do have 2 newman roller frames too...one is a 156 and the other is a 110.

color of shirts are Red...Navy...Grey...and Orange.

Full back and same image also on left chest

colors are:

underbase white (I intend to use a 156 unless instructed to do other wise)
light blue
dark blue
red
black
top white

are the seps done waiting film or are the films printed?  How did you know what halftones to use if you didn't know your mesh count.

It's been a long time since I printed manually, but if you are pretty good at printing through a 230, I would go all 230's and aim for about 50lpi if you can hold that, 55 would be better, but you might get some moire.

I like the idea of 230 as well.

I must say, I'm a bit confused.  I always thought the spelling was Theatre, but find it spelled both ways in Google.  If nothing else, they sure are diversified between sheet metal and whatever the other is, lol.

We manually print with Wilflex Genesis Series with 3 to 5% H.D clear through 305/34 or 305/31 mesh @ 20 to 25N.

I think "re" is the English/French way. Just like metre and meter.

Even a 230 for the underbase?....and the films were printed at 55 lpi

I use Wilflex artist white  print-flash-print through a 305/34 saati, (still have phalates in them, I don't know how bad the non-phalates are). Films are 55lpi. I won't be able to manually print through a 305/34 with Rutland White inks, they are alot thicker.

I love Wilflex simulated halftone base inks, it is like jelly in the pail. I cut it out with my scraper (not scoop). Then when I mix it fast, it just turns to liquid.

Mk162 is about where we would be.
I think the question is how many.
We would move into 3's for the gradient, but we do mostly on autos. Wilflex epic for most jobs.if it is on performance goods, that's a bit rough through high mesh on a manual.
If you have hundreds, you may want to re figure art for under 200,s.

lpi x 3.5 = lowest mesh count which would be the hardest to hold all of the halftones.
lpi x 5 = highest mesh count which would be the easiest to hold the halftones.

55 x 3.5 = 192.5 or a 196
55 x 4 = 220 or a 230
55 x 4.5 = 247.5 or a 250
55 x 5 = 275 or a 280
