3880 chip problems
« on: October 02, 2013, 09:54:52 AM »
I have just bought Epson 3880.
The first one I set up with bulk cartriges and it works fine
The second I tried to set up with the same cartridges but it did not recognize 3 cartridres, LB LLB and LM.
I bought new Epson cartridges to get the original chips and the printer worked for a few days and now won't recognize the same chips again.
Anybody have any idea what to do here?  The cartidges have 2 chips one the Epson original and one comes with the bulk system.
The Epson 3880 also switches off automatically after a pre set time, is there any way to have to stay on permanently?

For anyone interested I solved the problem, I found instructions in the InkjetMall website that worked.       By taking out the color cassettes and the maintenance tank, disconnected the electricity for a few minutes and then switching on, and putting the M Tank and then colors back I solved the problem.
