Anyone print on socks?
« on: October 10, 2013, 01:52:33 PM »
Got our first request for this today.  I was thinking wb inks, really open screen like a 135/48, load 'em on the sleeve platens, stretched out a bit so the image looks correct when worn, and just pile drive the ink in there?  Any good brands?  Thinking AA or Gildan just for availability.

Used to print millions (literally) of these back in the day every fall for Christmas. Four up on special pallets using sock puff ink to create "treads". Doesn't sound like what you're looking for though! But you're on the right track.
Oh and everyone can wish me Happy Birthday if you like. Pierre alredy did so he does'nt count!

Happy birthday Tony!

I would love to print those isotoner style grippy socks, I think it would be fun but no, these are just regular old socks.

Ideally I'd like to find a place that does the custom sewing, like on bike team socks, and have it outsourced to them.
