Rebuilding squeegee chopper cylinders.

Has anyone tried to put new o rings in a squeegee chopper cylinder?  I have about 5 on my 2010 sportsman e that I need to do something with because the squeegees lower unevenly and raise the same way.  They still print, but I don't want any trouble down the road.  I'm guessing that is all you'd have to do is replace the o rings after you found out what the exact sizes were.  I just want to keep the sportsman at tip top heck it's still pretty young with only 80,000 impressions.  At $102 and some change each that adds up pretty quickly but I'll have to fork it over if there is no other way.

ive rebuilt the chop cylinders on my 2003 gauntlet and its simple with the kit that i bought at M&R.  i dont think they make a repair kit for the cylinders on my 2008 Gauntlet so i had to buy new ones.

have you checked the air fittings?  swap with a known good air fitting.  ive had a few that i replaced along with the air hose and it fixed the odd chop actions.

I haven't tried swapping the fittings although I've tried everything from adding oil and checking the pivot bolts.  I've taken one of the cylinder apart and noticed no water.  It's ashame they don't sell a repair kit for the sportsman I have.  I'm going to go ahead and purchase new cylinders but you better bet If I get me a caliper and find the right size o rings I won't have to spend that kind of money again on something that could be fixed for little of nothing.  The bad thing is I think if anything I'm overkill on maintenance.  I regrease everything after every 5000 impressions.  For a machine with as few of impressions as mine the cylinders in my opinion shouldn't be haven't problems.  Just my gripe session.

I would suggest again you call to discuss the issue. The cylinders should not fail so soon and we should discuss the environment to determine the cause. Not saying that is the reason but we should at least try to determine the reason.

I've called and informed the tech that I had added 2 or 3 drops of oil to each cylinder that was chopping and raising unevenly.  The first tech told me to swap the air hoses on the block at the top of the press and if that didn't fix the issue that I would need new cylinders.  Swapping the hoses on the block didn't fix the issue.  That evening I emailed tech support and in the email I informed of everything that had been done so far.  The next morning I received a response that stated to add more oil and if that didn't work then again I would need new cylinders.  Is there another number I can call?  I'm not trying to be a pain, I just want to make sure the press is running tip top.
