S Mesh on Larger Frames?
« on: September 16, 2013, 08:45:52 AM »
Is there any negative side to using S mesh on larger roller frames such as 25x36 or 28x36?  Should we go with mesh that holds higher tension since there's more mesh area in the center than the usual 23x31 or it makes no difference?  Just wondering if that is an issue or if it should function just the same as with the 23x31's?

Thanks.

I've got some 25x36 roller frames with some 150/48 mesh panels stretched and haven't noticed any difference in that as opposed to the 23x31 shurlocs with the same mesh.  They still hold the same tension and I haven't noticed any faster loss of tension in the larger frames.
It's not a job if you love doing it.
