Franmar's claim to fame with Beeniedoo is that it breaks down plastisol into a " drain safe" liquid. We use beeniedoo for all of our screen de-inking, we don't actually flush down the drain, but into sand. Any particulate that gathers over time becomes a solid which we then roll up like a big fruit roll up and goes in the trash. That's the main reason we chose beeniedoo for our main ink-degrader, something with how their soybean oil compound interacts with the plastisol. It's awesome stuff, not caustic on your employee's skin, smells like cake batter rather than a harsh chem smell, and as soon as you scrub it in, plastisol dissipates immediately, we love it.

Hey everyone... We've been working on using a new chemical mix in the cleaner that is supposed to be "drain safe" as well. SaatiChem's IR14 Ink Remover is the latest to pass the test of degunking the squeegees with our normal 1-2 mix or even a 1-1 mix if you need something a bit more aggressive. We have it in stock if you want to try it, or you can contact your local Saati rep if you'd like! Great stuff!

So we ended up getting our Shurloc Squeegee Cleaner last week and I just wanted to pop in and say that we really really really like ours........ What used to take us several minutes to clean a set( 8-12 squeegees and foldbars) is now taking us 75% less time with our shurloc cleaner. It's easily worth the cost for our shop and labor rates. The best part is we use it to clean scoops and the outter edge of the ink buckets as well......Anyway it's a great tool for our shop and job well done for shurloc.
