a pond liner from Home Depot or Lowe's will work. I bought one a few years ago, $40, and enough to do our pretty large (60 x 44) exposure unit twice...

Gerr's problem is along the edges where it is fastened down. I know we went through that problem with our old vastex unit. Once it started to rip around the edges I took it apart rolled the edges to give it a hem and refastened. I also doubled the amount of hold down screws to give it some more life. It tightened the blanket up some but it did last for years.
That's right. I read what I posted and saw I really didn't explain myself well.

I tried a pond liner but it seemed too stiff for the vacuum to pull down completely on the unit.
