I plan on being there. 'pretty sure Dan will be too as he lives around the corner.

We should make some lanyards!

pierre

Or some artwork distributed to anyone who thinks they're going to print on a shirt color determined beforehand.

That way one could "smoke out" a fellow board member from a distance.
Work is the curse of the drinking class . . .

That kinda would be cool. we want to do tees every year/show, but never get around to it.

It would be interesting to have a 6 color sim process art file (sent out to anyone who wants it) for a TSB design...and have each person print it that is coming to the show and wear one. This can serve two purposes.

1, To locate members (as indicated above)

2, We can all evaluate each others print and assist in how it might be done better or give props and a pat on the back for those who need no assistance. (on the spot trouble shooting). To be done slightly after dinner.

At the Orlando ISS show last year, The ISS team, Greg Kitson, Balloon Printing (matt), Winston and myself all met for dinner last time. It was a great time. (and they place we had dinner at was great. Good prices (for I drive) and good food. I have to look back at hat post to get the name of the place.

They also had an upstairs dinner room (at no charge) if it is planned for being too large downstairs. They probably need over 15 people to use it. I think we can do that.

Dan, we were at Houlihans at Pointe Orlando on I-Drive and yes the conversation was very good.  I really enjoyed reminising with Winston about the screenprinting biz a hundred years ago or so.  ::)

Pick a night and I'll be there.  Throw out some artwork and let each of us who have time to spin it, bling it, add a little wow and we can have a 'TSB printing throwdown'.   CAUTION egos may be bumped and/or bruised!

I think egos might be bruised if we do it that way. What if we set a time to bring both show off and "I need help with this" prints to just review and kick the crap around. This way there is an expectation of bruised egos and feedback on how to make things better is expected.

Lets just skip bringing anything in all together. No great prints and no prints needing help. That way we can just eat, drink and listen to old stories by the elders in the tribe.

You are right!

sorry, I thought the shirt thing would be a separate event for anybody wanting to participate. 'forgot to mention that.

Well, I imagined we would do it towards the end of our meal in the same room. No worries tho. Shirts, no shirts, it will be a good time.

So, Pierre will be printing all of the 6 color sim process tees for everyone to wear I take it. ;)
How many do we need?  12-15?

It could be as simple as some one-color artwork on a predetermined shirt color for each of us to print, simply for identification purposes at the show. A nice graphic needn't be multiple colors. Or not. Doesn't have to be a contest.
At least that was my thought initially.

I meant it to be more like a consultation oppertunity.  A round table conversation of our own "so to speak". Not so much a contest.

Tony, you're just going to have to make time for us. Otherwise, we're just not able to believe you really exist. I mean, who's actually "seen" a TonyPep?

Funny I keep saying the same thing about Dave (Bim)!

Bimm is a real living breathing person.  I know because I visited with him, in person actualy shook his hand and gave him a guy hug, in Las Vegas last year when BR bought the Challeger 3D that M&R had on the show floor.

Funny thing though, he had this really stupid grin on his face every time we talked about the 3D!  Got bigger every time we taked about the bells & whistles that machine has.

If you watch the CIIID video on M&R's site, you can catch a glimpse of me lurking in the background. Not one to be in the forefront. I am real. So what about Tony?! Pierre claims to have spent time with him.
