Seeking interviewees for an article in Coreldraw Help September 2013
Deadline: Friday, August 23
Whether you’re a one-man shop or a high-volume shop with 10 automatic presses, every business has unique challenges. In September, I am writing an article about what some of them are. If you’d like to be included, I am listing my questions below. I’m trying to get all interviews by Friday, Aug. 23. I’m looking for all sizes of shops that do any kind of apparel decorating: screen printing, embroidery, heat- applied graphics, and digital direct-to-garment printing,
You can either respond in writing or email me to set up a time and I will call you to do an interview. In addition to the interview, I’d love to get a head shot of you and a couple photos of your shop. Either people working on equipment, some samples of work, etc.
The article will be published in Coreldraw Help,
www.coreldrawhelp.com around Sept. 15.
Examples of challenges: cash flow, employees, collections, growth pains, bought the wrong piece of equipment, outgrowing space, constant pressure to deliver quicker, struggling to keep up with marketing tasks like updating the website/Facebook/twitter/blogs, etc., burned out, struggling to master a technique (simulated four-color process/discharge/foil/printing on caps), customer service issues, not enough customers, too many customers, etc.
Questions:
What is your biggest worry/concern/challenge you are facing right now in your shop?
How long has this challenge been going on?
Can you pinpoint the cause?
What have been the negative consequences?
Are you working on any solutions, if so, what have you done?
What is your next step?
I look forward to hearing from you!
