Front and back placement of images on youth shirts?
« on: July 31, 2013, 07:35:32 AM »
For adult tshirts I use "3 fingers from the bottom of collar" for full front images and "4 fingers from the bottom of collar" on back images.

Would this same rule apply for youth shirts? What measurements do you use for image placements?

Frog used to have a measurement chart sort of that i still have hanging on the wall for when someone prints for me.

We usually cheat on the youth. For the front we would load a adult shirt to the bottom seam of the collar, and on the youth we will load to top of collar. So it is the width of the neck collar , back sort of same thing. We do one and hold it up to just see if it looks right.

ahh..so everything about a finger to a finger and a half shorter.....dont need an EXACT measurement but that sounds good...I will go with that.

Assuming the youth shirts are a normally sized shirt (other than Gildan with their huge youth "retail sizing") I use my regular placement guide and cheat it up a little less than an inch.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
