Attendees who stopped by the Hirsch Open House June 7-8 at the Solution Studio in Charlotte, N.C., had the opportunity to see a wide range of apparel decorating equipment in one place, get their questions answered, and see how automated the process of decorating apparel has become.
Several automation stations were set up to show how streamlined automation services make the production process. Barcodes were scanned directly from the Tajima Embroidery Machines which then automatically sewed the design and any personalization onto a variety of products (in the correct color combinations) without the operator having to do anything more than load the hooped garment and press the start button.
Demos also were presented on the Kornit Storm II digital printer, the MHM Xtreme automatic screen printing press that was paired with an Adelco dryer, the Seit Laser Bridge, the Seit Singlehead Laser, the Seit Performa 500 standalone laser, and several models of Tajima embroidery machines. Visitors received samples created during demos to take back home.
Also on hand were Hirsch partners who were available to answer questions and share their knowledge. Partners included Kornit, Seit, Tajima, MHM, Adelco, Madeira, Sanmar, as well as Printwear and Stitches magazines.
Attendees were treated to the best barbeque in Charlotte and enjoyed a great opportunity to see equipment in action.
