Printing Plackets on an Auto Tip

I had ask awhile back about printing plackets on an auto and got some great answer's,  I don't do alot of plackets but had an order I could tear thru quicker on the auto instead of the manual press.  Today I think I might have found a cheap fix without buying all new pallets, I got some old rubber from one of my old pallets, cut it in half (giving me two pc) and cut a slot 2" wide by 5" long down the middle and put a little glue on the pallet and stuck it down works like a charm.  The buttons fall in the slot just enough to make a nice full pass without any damage to the screen what so ever, thought I pass this on, just incase no one has thought of it yet.

We've been doing this for a long time and we use it for zip sweats too! We also cut "V" notches for those ladies garments that print close to the collar. Prints that go just above the pocket a good line up and levels off contact...One other note use strips of the pallet rubber placed on screen holders (between screen and holders) to compensate for off contact on Autos...

we use hard board (similar to what pegboard is made from)
