Seriously try a place that fixes car starters or even Radio Shack.

Find a Baldor dealer in your area, you can get this from their website, or a motor repair shop. Either should have them in stock, shouldn't be more the $25 at the worst case.

Grainger and a couple local electrical supply shops were zero help. I may have to gamble and order online and hope I order the right thing.

What's the part number on the motor?  I'm always up for some internet sleuthing.

Oh yeah that's the other problem, no markings whatsoever on the motor.

An unmarked product like this is probably a knock off. I suggest looking at some main stream product lines and try to match the look and specs. Mounting details, input voltage and rpm should narrow it down. After you have the data on the motor, you may be able to find parts or a drop in replacement.

We finally got the right brushes last week after Lawson sent the wrong ones and now she is purring like a kitten. I am gonna be in the market for a backup dryer just in case here in the future. I figure 2 of everything wont hurt.
